This update introduces major improvements to AI chat quality, citation accuracy, and reference document handling, including a new Comprehensive Mode and page-level citations. ChartInsight now integrates directly with Gemini GenieDocs, enabling seamless import, search, and synchronization of cases and medical records. New features like Bates numbering, enhanced custom sections, and expanded download formats improve legal compliance and data portability. The release also delivers a cleaner, more responsive UI with clearer navigation, loading states, and mobile enhancements.

Enhanced Chat & Citations

We've significantly improved how the AI cites sources and handles conversations.

  • New Comprehensive Mode: Provides in-depth answers, takes longer to think. Allows for use of Reference Documents
  • Improved Citation Formatting: Citations in both DOCX and PDF outputs are now more accurate and easier to follow
  • Citation Validation: Better handling of citations when navigating to referenced pages

Reference Documents

Use supplementary reference materials that the AI can search and cite when answering your questions.

  • Intelligent Retrieval: When chatting with records, the AI automatically searches relevant reference documents
  • Page-Level Citations: AI responses include specific page citations from your reference materials
  • Vector Search: Semantic search enables the AI to find relevant passages even without exact keyword matches

Gemini Integration

ChartInsight now integrates directly with Gemini GenieDocs software, enabling streamlined import workflows.

  • Direct Import: Import completed medical record requests and cases from Gemini directly into ChartInsight
  • Search & Browse: Search and paginate through your Gemini cases and records
  • Record Document Sync: Automatically retrieve and process document attachments from Gemini

Bates Numbering

For legal and compliance requirements, you can now add Bates numbers to your generated PDFs.

  • Automatic Numbering: Sequential Bates stamps are applied to each page of your documents
  • Template Control: Enable or disable Bates numbering per template
  • Original Page References: Chronology and citations continue to reference original page numbers for clarity
  • Professional Formatting: Numbers appear in the lower right corner of each page

Custom Sections Improvements

More control over what data is extracted from your medical records.

  • Medical Appointments Filter: Option to include only entries from medical appointment documents in custom sections
  • CSV Export: Download custom section data as CSV files for external analysis
  • Expandable Cells: Long text entries in tables can be expanded for full viewing
