Templates

ChartInsight templates allow you to save and reuse processing configurations, ensuring consistency across records and streamlining your workflow.

Templates

Overview

Templates are reusable configurations that define how records should be processed. They save time by pre-configuring settings that you use repeatedly.

Template Management

  • Create templates from the Templates page
  • Edit templates to update settings
  • Delete templates when no longer needed
  • Team-level templates shared across your team

Default Template

  • A template named "Default" is auto-selected when uploading
  • Users can override the template selection during upload
  • If no default exists, records use system defaults

Focus Settings

Overview

Focus settings guide the AI to prioritize specific content when analyzing your records.

Configuration Options

Enable/Disable:

  • Focus can be toggled on or off per record
  • When disabled, AI analyzes all content equally

Subject Description:

  • Free-text field to describe what to focus on
  • Example: "right knee injury that occurred in January 2023"
  • The more specific, the better the focus

Date Range:

  • Start date – ignore content before this date
  • End date – ignore content after this date
  • Useful for focusing on a specific incident period

AI Enhancement

When you save focus settings:

  1. AI processes your instructions
  2. Creates an enhanced subject interpretation
  3. Displays the enhanced version for verification
  4. Uses enhanced focus for relevance detection

Enhanced Subject Display

  • Shows AI's interpretation of your focus
  • Includes AI-detected relevant start date (if applicable)
  • Blurs during processing to indicate update in progress

Relevance Detection

Based on focus settings, the AI:

  • Marks chronology entries as relevant or not relevant
  • Allows filtering to show only relevant entries
  • Users can override AI decisions manually

Focus Warnings

  • "Not found" warning if AI cannot find the subject in the record
  • Focus will not be applied if the subject isn't found
  • Consider broadening the subject description
