Troubleshooting

I can't find my download

If you're having trouble downloading files, the issue may be caused by your browser settings, security software, or network restrictions. Try these steps to resolve the problem:

1. Check Your Internet Connection

Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Restart your router or switch to a different network if needed.

2. Disable Popup Blockers

Some downloads are triggered by popups. Disable popup blockers in your browser:

  • Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Pop-ups and redirects and allow popups for the site.
  • Firefox: Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Permissions and uncheck "Block pop-up windows."
  • Edge: Open Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Pop-ups and redirects and allow popups.
  • Safari: Go to Settings > Websites > Pop-up Windows and allow popups for the site.

3. Enable Automatic Downloads

Browsers may block automatic downloads:

  • Chrome & Edge: Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Additional content settings > Automatic downloads and allow downloads.
  • Firefox: Type about:config in the address bar, search for browser.download.autohideButton, and set it to false.
  • Safari: Open Settings > Websites > Downloads and change permissions.

4. Try a Different Browser

If downloads don't work in one browser, test another (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).

5. Clear Cache and Cookies

Corrupt cache files can interfere with downloads. Clear your browser cache:

  • Chrome, Edge, Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear browsing data.
  • Safari: Settings > Clear History and Website Data.

6. Check for Browser Extensions

Some extensions (like ad blockers or security add-ons) may block downloads. Temporarily disable extensions:

  • Chrome/Edge: Settings > Extensions.
  • Firefox: Add-ons & themes > Extensions.
  • Safari: Preferences > Extensions.

7. Check Your Security Software

Antivirus programs or firewalls may block downloads. Temporarily disable them to test, but remember to re-enable them afterward.

8. Ensure Enough Storage Space

If your device’s storage is full, downloads may fail. Check your available space.

9. Try an Incognito/Private Window

Open a private window (Ctrl+Shift+N in Chrome/Edge, Ctrl+Shift+P in Firefox) and attempt the download.

If issues persist, contact the website’s support team or check for system-wide network restrictions.
